Weather Policy
Nana’s Run will occur rain or shine. In the event of thunder or lightning before the race begins, or any other weather which presents a safety hazard, we'll postpone the run and ask participants to wait inside their vehicles until 20 minutes past the last instance of thunder or lightning. If thunder or lightening occurs after the race has started, Nana’s Run organizers will stop timing the run/walk and Grand Rapids Police Department officials and our volunteers will direct all runners and walkers to seek shelter.
