Race Day is almost here! We are so excited to return to the in-person option this year and are looking forward to seeing you! Race Day will look a little differently than you may be used to, but we MUST follow all safety guidelines set by the state of Michigan and recommended by the CDC. Listed below is all the information you need to prepare for Race Day!

Saturday, May 1, 2021 @ 10:00am

Starting Line at Rosa Parks Circle on Monroe Ave

Arrive ready to run! There will be no pre-race warm-up or sponsor tables in Rosa Parks Circle. Follow the RED directional signage to the starting line.

There will be NO race day registration.

This year’s race will feature a “Rolling Start" and the starting line will remain open from 10:00am to 10:30am. Participants must be finished and off the course by 12:00pm.

  • Maintain 6ft social distance with other groups at the starting line and begin your race as soon as there is an opening. All bibs are chipped and your timer starts when you cross the starting line.

The City restrooms at Rosa Parks Circle will be the only available bathrooms this year. Please plan accordingly.

Masks will be required for ALL attendees.

Outside of individuals in your group, please follow the CDC recommended 6 feet of social distancing at all times.

NOTE: Fruit and water will not be provided this year. Please plan accordingly and bring your own hydration materials.

If you signed up on or before April 1, 2021, your guaranteed Nana’s Run 2021 race shirt will be mailed to the address listed in your RunSignup account.

In-Person runners will also have their CHIPPED BIB shipped in the mail. Please be sure to have it on Race Day!

  • If there is any incorrect information on your bib, please contact info@nanasrun.com with requested changes.

  • If you don't receive your bib by race day, visit our bib pick-up table on race day, near the starting line.

There will be no post-race awards ceremony or medals this year. However, race times will be posted online at the conclusion of the event.

Upon completion of your race, please immediately return to your vehicles.

Volunteers will be on-site in RED Nana’s Run shirts should you have any questions.

By following these guidelines, you can help us make the return of Nana’s Run a successful one.
